IN CASE WE HAVEN'T MET YET...HEY THERE! I'M MANDY

the midwest boy mama, former HR Director turned full-time small business owner,  and dreamer of a simplified life outside of the 9-5.

I really had no idea I'd end up here, but I knew it had to be this way...

Ask anyone in my family and they'll tell you that my brain doesn't turn off. If you look up the definition of "multi-passionate", you'll probably see my face.

It's me, Hi. I'm the problem, it's me.

I've done everything from cupcake boss baker to tie-dye apparel extraordinaire, but they all had one thing in common: I was pretty good at all of it, but passionate about none of it. At least not enough to sustain it. And that was the important lesson I learned after years of serial entrepreneurship.

And that's really where my print on demand story begins.

For me, my passion is in creation. Design. Let me design a label, or a business card, or a t-shirt, or a website. Anything. I love the creation side of running a business. Ask me to actually package it up or deal with shipping.... Meh.

I don't mind it (I do run a handmade business after all), but it's not my favorite, and quite frankly the cost of maintaining inventory (especially for clothing designs that may not sell) is astronomical.

But a business model that allowed me to achieve six figure revenue in just 10 months? All while not having to touch a single product or ship anything out to a customer myself? Yes, please.

Passionate about inspiring others

That is why I get so freaking excited about print on demand and the opportunity that it opens up to other creative entrepreneurs that have always dreamed of running their own business but may not have the time, resources, or space to run a traditional product-based business.

Figuring out the "how" wasn't enough though.

If you've been on TikTok or YouTube for more than a minute, you'll know that there's LOTS of skepticism about Etsy and print on demand. And I'll admit, I was doubtful it was possible in the beginning.

If I was going to really make something out of this print on demand business, I wanted to figure out what makes the difference between following the steps but still struggling to find sales VS achieving actual results as a business.

Why do some sellers "make it", and others fizzle out?

Some people will say it's because the market is too saturated - the "lucky" ones got in early.

Others will tell you it's because Etsy's fees are too high, so only "some people" are making money.

And the real doubters will simply declare: it's all just a scam.

Y'ALL.
ALL OF THEM ARE WRONG.

As my favorite fellow Minnesota gal Jenna Kutcher likes to say: this is where the woo meets the work.

I followed all those steps in the beginning - I made my designs, and did some keyword research, and I made a lot of listings.

The results? Meh.
Sales? Sure.
Interesting? Not really.

My mindset needed a makeover - it wasn't JUST about following a few simple steps. Anyone can do that, and if it was that simple then everyone would be seeing the same results.

BUT THEY DON'T.

This is where the right strategy gets taken to the next level with the right mindset. Where having a commitment to run a BUSINESS (not "just a little side hustle") means that you are willing to keep going and stay laser-focused on taking consistent action despite the obstacles in your path in order to make your dream a reality.

This is what's necessary to scale faster than and outlive the competition.

This is where the magic happens, my friend.

This is where you THRIVE.

.

"Success is not a one-time event; it's a product of continuous goal-setting and the commitment to consistent action in order to achieve them."

I'm all about

After years of living the small business hustle, I have a deep love of helping others and I am on a mission: to help you cut through the noise and stop the overwhelm - so that you can start THRIVING.

When I'm not in front of the camera or a screen...

I'm actually a homebody introvert (again with the irony), a total foodie (give me all the sushi, please), iced coffee addict, and I can quote dozens of Gilmore Girls references (Team Logan all the way - sorry Dean fans).

You'll usually find me hanging out with my two favorite people (aka my husband and our son), especially if it involves a movie night, the MN State Fair, or a stroll along the river.

We live life on our own terms now, and I can't wait to help you do the same with your business!
